Are you a student in grades 3, 4, or 5? Do you like to draw, sketch, or doodle? Then, Pope Memorial Library needs your help! 

 

Pope Memorial Library offers so much MORE THAN BOOKS! We invite you to submit a drawing of what reading means to you and have your art made into a decal sticker!

 

We invite you to doodle your answer to "If I could read anywhere, it would be......."
 

A winner will be chosen from a group of finalists from each town.

How to enter

 

There are two ways to enter: 

 

ONE: Turn in to the Library circulation desk your doodle with your name, grade level, the town where you live, and guardian name and signature.

 

TWO: Have your guardian fill out the form below.​

By signing below, you attest your understanding that:


*The guardian is 18 years of age or older and has legal custody of the student submitting the work.


*The contest open to students in grades 3,4,5 attending school (or correspondingly homeschooled) in the following towns: North Conway, Conway, Center Conway, South Conway, Kearsarge, Redstone, Intervale, Glen, Bartlett, Jackson, Hale's Location, Hart's Location, Chatham, Albany, Eaton, Freedom, Madison, Tamworth, NH, as well as Fryeburg and Brownfield, ME.


*Hard-copy submissions require a guardian signature. Digital submissions require a guardian email address and signature.


*By submitting work, the guardian understands the following: that the Pope Memorial Library irrevocably owns all submitted artwork and can use it for any and all purposes deemed suitable; that if their student wins either the town or the final competition, the student’s first name and town of residency will be publicly displayed on the website and in the library.


*All artwork must be original and handcrafted to be considered.
