Part time Property Manager

Pope Memorial Library is a privately funded (but open to the public), nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization.
Our mission is to provide materials, resources and services that educate, inspire and entertain people of all ages and backgrounds. The library provides a sense of community by nurturing the love of reading and by sharing information and ideas in a welcoming and safe environment.
As a part-time Property Manager, you serve as the building and grounds administrator for the library. You will be involved in the operation, maintenance and repair of the building, building systems and grounds. The position is part time with flexible hours; on call as necessary for weather and building issues.
Responsibilities:

Regular property inspection
-
Property upkeep
-
Annual inspection of building systems
-
Identification of maintenance and capital items and list for repair budget

Alarm response
-
Sidewalk snow & ice removal
-
Landscape, mowing and grounds maintenance
-
Miscellaneous items such as light cleaning, recycling, trash removal, etc
Required Skills:
-
Skilled in general construction, carpentry, painting, basic electrical

Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and sprinkler systems

Knowledge and relationships with area contractors

Intermediate computer skills
-
Ability to work within budgets and schedules and regularly report project progress
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. ·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
·Must have valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a background check.
