About the event

This is a free program open to the public, geared to children K-3 and their families.  Donations are appreciated and help support the library.  Pope Memorial Library is a privately funded, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. We receive no funding from the Town of Conway, the State of New Hampshire, or the federal government.  We rely on donations from patrons and friends like you.

Whales & Seals (Grades K - 3)

We will address the following questions:

  • How do marine mammals stay warm?
  • How big are they?
  • How do they eat?

We will explore these questions with hands-on activities such as blubber gloves, feeding frenzy, measuring a whale.
