Sign Up for your Library Card

Local permanent residents and property owners

Local permanent residents and property owners in the following NH towns are eligible for a free library card: North Conway, Town of Conway (including Conway, Center Conway, South Conway, Kearsarge, Redstone), Intervale, Glen, Bartlett, Jackson, Hale’s Location, Hart’s Location, Chatham, Albany, Eaton, Madison, Tamworth and also residents of Fryeburg* and Brownfield ME*. We appreciate, but do not require, a $10 donation for new patrons

Non-Residents

We offer non-resident cards for $50 per year per family and 6-month cards for seasonal employees for $30.

Digital Access

Due to the skyrocketing costs of digital media, non-resident cards do not have access to the digital catalog.  We suggest those patrons contact their local libraries for access. Fryeburg and Brownfield residents no longer have access to our digital catalog; these patrons may access the Maine State Library catalog through their local library.

How to Apply

Please bring a picture ID and proof of residency (e.g. a local Driver’s License, pay stub, utility bill, lease, etc.) when you come to the library to sign up for your card. We are open seven days a week for your convenience. If you already have a library card that has expired, please email us at staff@popelibrarynh.org. We will need current proof of residency to renew your card.
