Community making good things happen

We are thrilled to announce that the library is housing a new community refrigerator from MWV Farmers Market. They're calling it the FREEdge. MWVFM has heard from many folks in the state that some of the hardest things to secure for folks experiencing food insecurity are fresh fruits and vegetables, and they wanted to help meet this need in our community. That desire inspired the FREEdge.

MWV Farmers Market will be working with market vendors to stock the FREEdge with fresh produce following their weekly markets. This food is FREE to anyone in need. You can access the FREEdge seven days a week at the Pope Memorial Library during library hours. This program is made possible with grant support from Champions of New Hampshire Farms.
