Hello Library Friends,
In 2026, we’re asking for your help to raise $158,000 to keep Pope Memorial Library thriving.
Our purpose is to be more than books. For 139 years, we’ve been a community hub for the Mount Washington Valley. With your help, we’ll continue to be a place where everyone belongs.
We advocate for literacy and a love of knowledge while strengthening community relationships through education, collaboration and connection. We offer safe, welcoming spaces for all, diverse resources, creative programming and beneficial services. Whether it is our beloved storytimes for young readers, writer visits, art exhibits, film screenings, or even live animal presentations, we continue to be a library where everyone, regardless of age or background, feels welcome.
We hope you will take pride in the role you have played in helping us become the community hub our founders envisioned. We will be hosting even more events and programs this year, including opportunities to browse our collection, view local artists’ work, and participate in a variety of cultural and educational activities.
We look forward to seeing you at the library soon!
