January Pope Library Book Club

In January, join the book club as we speak about Olga Dies Dreaming by Xochitl Gonzalez.  This 2022 novel was a Goodreads favorite.  Set against the backdrop of NYC, this is a story about political corruption, familial strife and the  the American dream.

February Pope Library Book Club

We'll discuss a short book in the shortest month.  

In 1981 Ireland, County Wexford, a girl is sent to live with foster parents on a farm, while her mother gives birth. She has no notion of when she will return home.

 

Foster won the Davy Byrnes Award and was chosen by The Times as one of the top 50 works of fiction to be published in the 21st century.
