The PML Recipe Club's chili winner Lori Silverman is cheffing it up for the library. Purchase your tickets from the MWV Chamber of Commerce in advance and save some money.

Spring Bulb Centerpieces w/Dutch Bloemen Winkel

Saturday, March 28 @ 12pm

 

Join us for a delightful class, where you'll create a stunning seasonal arrangement full of natural charm. This hands-on workshop will guide you through designing a beautiful spring basket. Perfect for beginners and experienced flower enthusiasts alike, this class will leave you with a centerpiece that’s sure to brighten any space. All materials are provided. 1 hour class.

Week long library springtime egg hunt

Sunday, March 29 - Saturday, April 4

 

5th annual indoor egg hunt, sponsored by MWV Kiwanis.   The library will supply the egg collection basket, just stop by the desk to get started. **for children 10 & under.

 

**children are limited to a dozen eggs and one golden egg to trade for a prize 

Charcuterie board class

March 30 @ 5pm

 

A scrumptious night in the library learning to assemble a beautiful and delicious charcuterie board. Registration will include all the tasty components and a beautiful board.

Monthly book group

Thursday, April 2 @ 11am

 

12-year-old ConaLee and her traumatized, mute mother, Eliza, as they seek refuge in the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in post-Civil War West Virginia, exploring themes of identity, trauma, family, and resilience amidst the lingering chaos of war. ​

Craft & Chat

Thursday, April 2 @ 1pm

 

Come create in community, the first and third Thursday of every month. Bring your own project and your sense of humor.

 

Spring flower drawing and painting

Thursday, April 2 & 9 @ 4pm

 

Get ready for springtime with a springtime flower painting series. We will discuss different drawing and painting techniques used to create flower stems, leaves, and petals. We will draw and paint using paper and canvas. This is a two session class.

Learn to hand sew

Saturday, April 4 @ 11am

 

Learn the basics of hand sewing during this 3.5 hour workshop. Students will learn running, whip, and back stitch, and a basic buttonhole stitch and button. They will leave the class with a small simple sewing book, or needle book, to hold their tools in.  All supplies included.
