Happy New Year!

January always feels like a fresh chapter in a new book, full of possibilities—but also weight of knowing that most New Year’s resolutions are easier to admire than to keep. At Pope Memorial Library, the momentum we feel at the start of the year comes less from grand promises and more from strong relationships. Throughout the Valley, partnerships—both long-standing and newly formed—continue to strengthen our programs and expand what the Library can offer; from tax prep, to support groups, to cooking classes and storytimes.

As we begin the new year, that shared energy is building on what already works while opening the door to new ways to educate, collaborate with, support, and enrich our community. We’re grateful to be part of a place where connection matters, and where success is very much a team effort.

Thank you for being part of this community. Your support makes the library successful in delivering on our mission to advocate for literacy and a love of knowledge while strengthening community relationships through education, collaboration and connection. We look forward to maintaining the quality of our programming and growing the diversity and frequency of new programs and events. All of us at Pope Memorial Library wish you peace and good health in the new year.
