February 2026 Newsletter

 February is Library Lovers month -- what better time to celebrate this place that gives us so much to love? Pope Memorial Library is More Than Books. Libraries are where stories spark imagination, curiosity turns into discovery and everyone is welcome just as they are. We are cozy corners for quiet reading, lively hubs for learning and connection and gateways to worlds both real and imagined. From books, movies and a Library of Things to programs, workshops and friendly faces ready to help, libraries are built on the simple (but powerful) idea that knowledge should be free, shared and accessible to all. This month, we’re celebrating everything that makes libraries special—and all the wonderful readers, learners and dreamers who make them come alive every day.

To find the most current dates, times, and registration information for all our programs, please visit our library website or stop by the front desk. Some events, particularly those with limited capacity, such as the Becoming Wolf program or author visits, may require advance sign-up.
